Hours: 16.25hrs, Monday to FridayContact: Temporary contract for specific 1:1 support Salary: £9065.00 - £9217.00 per annum Start Date: 8th April 2024, or sooner if possible.Closing Date: Friday 23rd February 2024, 9am Interviews: Wednesday 6th March


The Headteacher and Governors of this highly respected school wish to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Leaning Support Assistant who has the knowledge, skills and drive to make a difference to the lives of the children and their families within our School. This represents a real opportunity for someone to make their mark and contribute to the development of learning in our school. The role is linked to a specific child and would end if the child left the school or funding is withdrawn.We are looking to appoint a creative, experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who: Is an excellent practitioner, with high expectations and who uses this to inspire and engage learning. Has some previous experience of being a Learning Support Assistant. Knowledge and experience of SEND within a First School setting. Has an innovative and exciting approach to learning. Has the ability to reflect on and develop their own practice, and that of others. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is a well organised and a proactive team player who will make a positive contribution to our school. Demonstrate enthusiasm and emotional resilience when working with young children. Be an outstanding role model to our children Possess NVQ Level 2 or equivalent 3 GCSE to include English and Mathematics (C or above) Our School offers:
