My Fair Lady

The story follows Eliza Doolittle, a poor flower girl in London, who is taken under the wing of arrogant phonetics professor Henry Higgins as part of a bet. He wagers that he can transform her into a refined lady by teaching her to speak ‘proper’ English.
Undergoing rigorous lessons, Eliza successfully passes as a high-class lady at a society event. However, her transformation challenges both her and Higgins, leading to questions of identity, class and relationships as she blossoms into an independent woman.
