Balaban and The Bald Illeagles

Balaban and the Bald Illeagles formed in 2016 with Roscoe set out to build a band for his own songwriting. He brought in longtime friend Onion on bass despite Onion not yet being a musician and drummer Jon “Cosy” Compton from the Miss Halliwell off‑shoot Perhower.
The trio recorded their first EP BATBI in 2017. Rough around the edges but full of promise, it produced early fan favourites like Dronehead and Lucid Dream. Throughout 2018 they developed their sound further releasing an album in 2019.
