The Night Overtook Us: An Evening of Scottish Folk Music

Donald Grant, Elias Quartet violinist, is also a master of the folk fiddle. Raised in the Highlands, Donald was immersed in Gaelic song and Scottish music from an early age. His folk projects are infused with his life-long passion for this music tradition and inflected, through his many collaborations, with the spirit of jazz and the musical rigour of his classical work.
