The Military Wives Choir

The Military Wives Choir was formed by BBC TV star Gareth Malone as part of the TV hit series The Choir. It aimed to help the wives and girlfriends of servicemen deployed to Afghanistan – helping them to express themselves through song. Within a year, the choir was number one on the UK singles chart with the Christmas hit Wherever You Are.
