Lace Wars Re-enactment

7th - 8th June.

This Lace Wars re-enactment portrays life during the Mid-Eighteenth Century. The period covers famous events such as the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion led by Bonnie Prince Charlie, the conquest of Canada during the Seven Years War under General Wolfe, the defeat of French forces in India under Clive of India and the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution in Britain.
