Jamie New is 16 and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie harbours a secret dream: to be a drag queen! But first he must find the confidence to be his true self outside his home. With the support from his mum Margaret, and his best friend Pritti, who reassure him his differences are what make him beautiful. Despite the bullying, prejudice and fear, Jamie learns to embrace his inner queen and step into the spotlight. One way or the other he will be a sensation.
